First Lady Janet Carlton is a faithful servant at Oak Grove. We Thank God for her!
First Lady Carlton is a native of NC, born on December 17th to Melvin and Fannie Bailey of Wilkes County. Educated at Liberty University where she earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and NC A&T State University where she earned the Bachelor of Science Degree. Lady Carlton is a servant of the Lord and confidante to her husband and Pastor Graylin Carlton, together they have two children.
First Lady began her service and walk with Christ at the age of 13 when she got saved and baptized. The love and devotion to her family and God is reflected in her ministry of working with youth and seniors throughout her life. Often subtle she serves as a strong advocate and is drawn to helping roles to exalt Gods people.
When asked what her role is in ministry, Lady Carlton adds “My role is to serve and support the ministry, pray for all, and love the people of God! “In ministry, Lady Carlton prays and studies to perform liturgical worship songs that give a heartfelt message to inspire all.
